You know you're obsessed when...

It's 9:30pm on a weekday and you're sitting on your floor pondering your sump/ fuge setup, what do you guys rate this thing?

Aqau one 120 sump
Aqua one 120 skimmer
Aqua one 120 pump that came with the tank

2 two little fishies reactors running from one Aqua one maxi 103 pump
-Thrive bio stimulant crush for phosphate and nitrate removal (bio pellets)
-Two little fishes hydro carbon

One filter sock (Aqua one, came with the tank)
One 11oz (312g) bag of chemi pure blue
3 various macro algaes (chaeto, Etc forgot names)
A bag of live sand, forgot which brand but $70 for 10kg (welcome to Australia)
One cheap led fuge light on timer running opposite to tank lights
Roughly 12 pounds of live rock
10 cubes of marine pure
Aqua one heater 100w heater

3 trochus snails
One sand sifting star
Several hermits

image.jpg

And tons of Siliceous Sponges and plentiful pods (sorry for any incorrect spelling)

Any upgrade and suggestions would be very welcome, also looking into a better skimmer and light that won't break the bank, any suggestions ?

I have a 05 lancer evolution that I want to dress up, but I rather buy goodies for my tanks, my friends think I'm nuts.

...I was sitting in a meeting for 3 hours and all I got out of it was a new soldering plan for my LEDs for the algae scrubber.

180 liter, sumpless reef, no skimmer for the moment.

Current Tank Info: Juwel VISION 180, currently only invertebrates, planning to have low bioload as I have no skimmer and no refugium for the moment.

I kind of get excited when there's an issue with the tank because I truly enjoy the problem solving/detective work aspect of this hobby. It's so satisfying when you solve the issue. When nothing is wrong, I find myself searching for things to fix.

When you work all day and when you get home you go straight to your fish tank to feed the fish and check equipment before hugging your wife and kids.

When you open the refrigerator and freezer and the fish have more food selection than you do.

When you build up a $144 lfs credit from trimming the frogspawn, collecting the mushrooms and plucking some Kenya trees.
Well, after yesterday's visit to that store the balance is back to $0.

The obsessions comments are great and funny. Bad part is I have had similar experiences with almost all of them.
