Worm ID
I just found this worm on the side of my overflow. Is it harmful or should I keep it? It's about 5 inches long.

Need to see the other side of the worm, while its more common to be a bristle worm which is harmless. it could also be a more uncommon worm such as a Caribbean fireworm

I would say bristle worm most likely.

Either way, a worm that big is unsightly.
If you can remove it, I would. At best, it eats some detritus. At worst, it clogs up pumps, multiplies, irritates corals, freaks your wife out, freaks you out. Not worth it imo. There are probably 50 others a fraction of the size already in your tank. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk |
