Does anyone know a good protein skimmer that fits inside a jbj 34 rimless tank? I want overkill and my budget is $150

Depending on the rear space available (not 100% but I believe it should), a slim skim could prove to be a good choice for that tank. It is rated for 65 gallons, so a moderate to heavy bioload should be skimmed off quite easily by that skimmer. Based on what I've seen, it isn't too loud and its efficient for the pricing.

Tunze 9004 is another option. Its dimensions: 4.3" x 3.5" x 12"
Water Lever Required: Approx. 8.86" - 9.65".
