Hi Guys
wanting to get an apex for my 40g breader
running 3 kessil A160we 2 Tunze nano 6040
Tunze skimmer and filter
so
Apex gold or apex jr

any info reviews would be helpful
also from what I've read i will need 65' of ethernet cable to hook up to router?
(router 60' away from tank)

If your budget permits I would go for the Apex Gold not the ApexJr as lots of people will by a ApexJr and out grow its capabilities. Then they either save it for a smaller tank or end up selling it.

I just got my apex rolling and really can only say it's a matter of preference. I personally knew the shortcomings of the Jr and didn't have to think twice on what would work better for my uses.
My advice is to learn the systems better and pick based on what you are planning to do with it.
Ps. There are 2 other full versions of the apex that are less than expensive than the gold. I personally am completely happy with my lab grade apex and live just fine not knowing my orp and using a refractometer to read salinity.
