Water change PVC tubing type/size?

What type and size of PVC tubing do you use for water changes? I need about 20' to go from tank to garage drain. Should I use Clear PVC or braided? 3/4 or 1/2"?

I would use standard white PVC to inhibit algae growth. Line size would be dependent on desired flow, but in general I would use 1" for the drain and 3/4" for the supply

I should clarify its not permanent. I'll roll it out on water change day and put it away when done.

Braided will hold its shape much better, but it will costs more.

Length wont be a factor. 3/4 should be plenty big. How big is the tank, and how big are the water changes?

Been using the same length of black pond hose into Rubbermaid brutes for years. Works great. 3/4 inch hose with an Eheim 1262.
