Custom Miracles Tank - 30x30x12; bulkhead sizes?
Hey guys,
Going to be placing an order for a custom tank at miracles this week but need some help determining what size bulk heads to use. Tank is 30x30x12 (about 45 gallons). Will be using a ecotech vectra m1 pump (variable flow rate) Sump approximately 15 gallons water (haven't decided yet) Will be mostly sps dominate and no fuge. What flow rate should I be aiming for for circulation through sump? And what size bulkheads would be needed for the external glass overflow and 2 returns (either side of overflow)? Will have 3 holes in external overflow for bean animal install. Your advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Thinking 3 1" bulkheads for overflow and 2 3/4" line for returns???

There is never a good reason to use smaller return lines. Go with all 1".
