Is there access for storage in the platform for the Nuvo Concept Abyss Peninsula? I wasnt to set up a nano tank on a bar but need to be able to hide all of the cords/equipment.

I imagine the platform does not have storage space and is used primarily to keep the tank stable, secure, and level. However, rather than rely solely on my presumption (I haven't seen the tank outside the box yet, but hope to this afternoon), I've reached out to Innovative Marine this morning for confirmation. Thank you for your question! I will let you know as soon as I hear back.

Thanks! If there is not direct access hopefully a little modding can make use of it.

Here is Innovative Marine's response:

"The pedestal that comes with the Abyss Peninsula is (1) solid piece, with no pre drilled holes. However, I don’t see why someone couldn’t use a hole saw and drill a hole into the back side of the pedestal to insert a power bar to hide the cords.

I wouldn’t recommend doing it on the pedestal for the Atoll because it is pre-formed wood, and it would probably effect the structural integrity. The other thing to put into consideration is all the pedestals are specially painted to protect against water splashing. And if as long as the end consumer knows that if he drills the opening he needs to be careful with not letting water down into that exposed area."
