Lighting for bubble tips in 2016
Hey Everyone,
I've been out of the game for a little while but I've been reading back through the forums to absorb as much info as possible. Lighting seems to still be one of the biggest challenges for people keeping BTAs. These days, what is everyone having the best experience with, for both growth and colouration of their anemones? I've had a tank running for around a year and a half with some bubble tips, recently running the AI Hydra 52 (HD) and they are loving it. However, I've always wanted (I had a thread on this years ago) to set up a propagation tank for BTAs. I don't particularly want to blow that much money on high end LEDs for the setup. All the old posts say halides of course, but I haven't seen anyone running hallides in years. Some of the stores around round here run those cheap Chinese LEDs on their anemone tank, but those tanks aren't for growth or recovery or anything so I'm not sure. Thanks Samuel! |
