Filtering bubble algae spores
Does anyone know if a filter sock, 200 micron I believe, will filter out bubble algae spores?

I had a massive Bubble algae issue, tried everything from lights out periods to pulling them all out and nothing ever worked. All my params test in order but still had this huge problem. After debating the whole emerald crab method I finally gave in got 2 female ones since they have MUCH smaller claws. I threw them in the tank on Thursday and by Sunday 90% of the bubbles were gone and my rocks have never looked better. This is a super cheap method that doesn't involve adding chems and other things. Give it a try, you don't have much to lose and everything to gain.
