Two fish in quarantine tank?
Is this allowed?

Alot is going to be determined by size of the quarantine and species you're looking to mix. Any additional stress that could be added with two territorial fish that are already stressed out could be enough to put both of them at risk. Even two more laid back fish will likely get more stressed out than they already are with the presence of another fish in new surroundings.
So, long story short, yes it's allowed, but I would advise against it. |

I usually do 2 or 3 in QT depending on species etc... I use a 29 gallon biocube and i've had good luck with having at least 2 in the QT ... i almost think it's better then just having 1 loan fish in their for weeks and weeks all alone.

Thanks for the photos and feedback everyone. I have my QT set up and cycled and have had a fish in it for three days. What should I be doing now?? Sorry for the ridiculous question but should I just be watching him, looking for ich, or should I have medication in the water?
Thanks!

I will generally treat all fish with prazipro as a precaution .... it's very easy on the fish and is a good preventative measure .
other then the prazi I don't treat anything else unless something shows itself ... then i treat accordingly. a lot of close observation is your best bet here while maintaining good water quality
