Is my GSP okay??
So yesterday I bought a GSP frag but it won't open and the mat isn't purple at all!! Is it normal behavior for this coral? I understand it is really hardy and almost unkillable.
![]() ![]() It is in the middle of my tank with medium-high flow. I temp and drip acclimated it before introducing to the tank. All help will be appreciated! ___ TANK PARAMETERS ___ 30 gal Salinity: 1.027 Ammonia: 0.0 ppm Nitrites: 0.0 ppm Nitrates 25 ppm (working on lowering this) PO4 0.08 ppm pH 8.2 Alk: 12 dkH |

GPS is pretty tough stuff, a lot of people don't like it, because it can take over. But I really like it. Give it a couple of days to get used to your param. Though I would drop you salinity a little, to 1.025 or 1.026 and I would get your alk around 8. other than that you should be fine
