Aquarium sealing
I am curious how long a tank can sit before it needs resealing. The tank has not held water for around a year and a half as well as being in a garage.
-If I water test it and it hold water with no leaks should I take the time to reseal it? |

I stored a 150g tank that had been in use for almost 10 years in my unheated garage for about 7 more years before I put it back in service. I used it as a storage bin for garden tools. I cleaned it out, leak tested it for a week or so, and then filled it up. I used it for another 10 years or so before selling it to another hobbyist who now has it as their DT.
