Got my brs dosing stuff. Now what?

So first off, I'm so excited right now. I love getting new fish stuff. Even if it's just additives. Plus I'm super excited to have the gallon size jugs. I'm gonna mix everything up today but I don't know how much ro to use. I know. A gallon. I get it. When I was using esv the gallon jugs had a line where I added ro to. So do I add ro to near the top then add the powders and continue filling to the top or am I supposed to stop at a certain point? Or, do I fill to the bend near the top, add powders and stop? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I fill my gallon jugs about half way, add chemicals, mix well, fill up the rest of the way.

Also BRS has youtube videos on how to mix their chemicals.
