Suggestions for new reactor
Just got a new GSR reactor and wanted to ask what you put in yours?

It depends on the needs of your tank, if you don't have a need don't use one. I run carbon and GFO in my reactors, carbon because I have a mixed reef and need to keep a handle on the coral chemical warfare. GFO to keep my phosphate levels down.

One last question…is it better to put extra media in the reactor or can you cause damage if you put too much in?

Some can cause a problem.. like biopellets which may cause a massive bacterial bloom.. Other media like carbon is just fine to use in larger quantities..
