Coast to coast overflow
I am planning for a 40 gallon breeder setup. I want to use internal overflow that spans the entire length. I'm having trouble finding one online. Is this something I will have to make? I can probably build one, but I was really hoping to have it look sharp.
Any help is appreciated. |

Most people make their own - go to your local glass shop and have them cut 2 lengths of ¼" glass of the appropriate size use clear/black silicone to secure it in place.

I have considered that, but I don't have a way to cut the teeth into the glass. I'm also not sure if I can get it in black. They did say they could tint the glass, but I didn't really understand what that entailed.
What size is adequate? I'm thinking 4" by 4". That sound sufficient? |

You don't need the teeth... Plenty of other ways to prevent fish,etc.. going for a ride down the waterslides..

Smooth overflow will surface skim much better than one with teeth. So your protein skimmer with work better. Thats the point of the coast to coast. If you have fish that get into it u cam use gutter gaurd to prevent.
