Should you removed molted shrimp skins?
Wondering if I need to remove them? Do they rot?
Thanks for the help!

You're fine with leaving them in.

+1. You can remove them if you don't like, but they won't hurt anything.

If it's easy to get to I take them out... If not, no worries.

Should be mostly chitin, a sugar. It will decompose eventually, but I can't see it causing any problems.

I've read that it's good to leave in. They'll occasionally eat it to help with their next shed. Never witnessed this myself. Besides it looking ugly in the DT... I've never seen any harm in letting it break down naturally in the system.

You could fry them up and make shrimp rinds!

I've always left them in and they were either eaten or dissolved by the next day.
