Reefbrite UVA?

Anyone out there using the new reefbrite UVA? I have seen videos but haven't seen in person yet. Any thoughts on this ? Is it worth it. Does it only pop green? What is visual brightness to human eye? If I purchased it would be run a couple hours and beginning and end of lighting schedule .

Roger

I saw it in person at ReefAPalooza NY, ReefBrite had it on a table along with the regular blues and yes it is very different to the eye. I didnt see it over a tank, but if you ask me, it resembles a violet, dimmer visually but im sure it packs a punch since Reefbrite reflectors and Leds are the bomb.

I have a two bulb RB UVA it gives off ghastly color at night ,not like the video. Great for divers watches really makes them glow. Since I have a dual MH over my tank I guess I do not need anymore UV.

I was wondering what colour Ultra Violet most resembled.

I have a uv flashlight at the same wavelength. Fun to play around with but for everyday purpose I would rather add some 420 mm light. It is a very ugly light but even makes some blue coral I previously thought had no GFP pop like crazy
