Fish Stocking List

In the planning stages for a 90 Gal Cube ( 36 x 24 x 24 ) from SCA. Looking to get some advise and suggestions on a fish stocking list. This will be a mixed reef tank. All suggestions and advice welcome. Here is my initial list...

Ocellaris Clownfish x2
Bicolor Blenny x1
Pink Spot Goby x1
Green Chromis x5

Thanks for taking a look.

Seems fine to me. Keep in mind that you will probably end up with 3 chromis as they tend to kill the weaker ones.

everything looks good except the chromis. They will off each other until highlander emerges.

I would suggest some anthias instead if you want pretty schoolers. Just set up an autofeeder for them. I would not put a dwarf angel in a mixed reef.

Yeah that is what I have been seeing on the chromis as far as territory. What type of anthias would you suggest?

Personally, I would go with Lyretail

You may have trouble keeping multiple anthias in that tank as well. There are species of anthias that do better than others in smaller tanks, although I'm not sure a lyretail is one of them.

I think lyres would be ok, but other species would be easier.

Bartletts or carberryi would be my suggestion.

For the Anthias, I would do one male and at least 3 females.

This. Also know, if you consider chromis that you must have a rigorous quarantine protocol, as they are susceptible to uronema marinum.

Two spot gobies are difficult and require a mature tank.

Yeah I agree after doing more research. What about like a watchman goby or a bi-color blenny. Would the bi-color and the Midas fight it out?

If you're looking at Blennies Tail Spot are one of my favorites. Great personalities

I echo the 3 female anthias comment. It is the safest way to go and it will allow you to watch one of them transition from female to male which is really cool to see.

The bicolor (or tailspot, or starry, or lawnmower, or... whichever rock-perching, algae-munching blenny you settle on) and the midas should get along just fine. The midas is a planktivore who spends his day high above the rockwork, dancing among the anthias. (They're known to hang out with some types of anthias in the wild, but not sure if they do in aquariums.)

Thanks! Thats what i was thinking that they should be fine since they eat different foods.

Thanks for everyone's inputs and suggestions.
