What is this on my Majestic's head??

It looks like broken scales up close and not sure 100% what happened but hes been in display about a week after doinf 2 weeks in qt with cupramine. Eats very well and acts totally normal but has this damage or whatever that is. Will it heal? Can anyone tell me what it is? Or if its normal?

Looks like a whole lot of awesome!!

Does it look like damage or a fluke hanging off

Kinda like damage... You can see the white under the scales. But hes very healthy so if it is scales, it should heal right? He did a full prazi treatment before so he's solid

Ah. If he has just banged himself, then he will heal. That is a super sweet fish!

Yes, it will heal if it's just damage from collection and shipping. watch to make sure it doesn't turn red with infection. Keep us updated.

Melafix and Pimafix would help with the healing. Both are 100% reef safe., and can be used at the same time.

Like I said in my first post, You CAN medicate with Melafix and Pimafix in your DT. They are both safe to use in a reef. Look them up and read about them. I wouldn't recommend something that you could not use.

Seems to have almost entirely healed over. Looked like scales that came off but almost 100% now. Was just weird that it was exactly the same on both sides of his head. Def wasnt hlle. Another week or 2 and he should be perfect. Hes a little beast and very outgoing

Does your majestic like to come out and swim and socialize with the other fish?
