Test results

So I put in my live rock and live sand yesterday. I also added a bag of bacteria. I just tested the water. Ammonia <.25. Nitrite 0. Nitrate 10. Does it make sense to have some nitrate and no ammonia?

You need increase the ammonia by adding ammonia or ghost feed. The ammonia will convert to nitrite then nitrate.

Add some shrimp from a shrimp cocktail. Or pee in the tank. Either way you need to raise ammonia.
