Tank crash cause..dead lizard!

So my tank params were perfect, then it starts. First tank got cloudy. Second a nasty smell, then SPS started to RTN. More smells. I was so confused, went down checklist and tested for the usual suspects..ATO failure, ALK spiking, etc. I then open the cabinet doors and the smell of zombies almost knocked me over. Looked closer and there it was a big lizard rotting in my sump Nasty! Fish, anemone and LPS are ok but all my sps are goners. Sucks to start over.

Sounds like a large water change and run lots of carbon. Hopefully the rest will be fine.

Man! I've got to be careful. I've got a large sump in my garage. It's possible a lizard could crawl in there somehow
