Pacific Sun Hyperion S
Good Evening all,
Im hoping maybe will be able to help. Im having issues with my 3x145w lights. My left bank of lights will not switch off th blue mode (unsure which blue) I have had a look at the lights and even swapped the LED bank from the middle bank to the faulty one, still the same fault. I thn swapped the driver board from the middle bank and still no change. It seems the lights wont go below a certain %, they will however display properly normally during the day because the blue is lost with all other LEDs on. When i try and turn on moonphase the lights stay blue and too bright. Both other banks will dim properly and react normally. I have updated all firmware and software, im at a bit of a loss. All mosfets and resistors have been checked and all are within specification. im hoping one of your clever people may be able to help me out. thanks in advance |

I have the same probolm with 2 of my panels for the last few months and now 1/2 the leds are out on that panel and my other one lost a set of red leds. Not happy for replacement panels that are about 2 years old

I dont remember any LEDs issues(damages) sourced by hidden defects. We sold few thousand of them. If your panels for have mechanical damages - please contact with our service, we offer three years of warranty for LED panels and your panels are still on warranty. We offer two years of full warranty on all our products - and LED panels in our hybird/led lamps have full three years of warranty. They are 100% made in our factory and we stay behind our products(knowing how they are built) - so please don't worry at all. @Benannah Yes, yesterday and today we had free from work days, our service back to work tomorrow. |

I'm really surprised by that what you said because it's not possible to make upgrade from Hyperion R2+ to Hyperion S without replacing all cables, drivers and controller inside. I will explain why because there are two most important differences: 1. Hyperion R2+ are 8 channel LED lamps. They are using more powerful leds(also white) which are not used in Hyperion S - which are 9 channel lamps. So without re-wiring everything you are not able to do upgrade as you told. 2. There are different currents set on each LED channels. If you connected Hyperion S panels to Hyperion R drivers(they have the same plugs but they are not compatible between together) you LED channels in Hyperion S will work on too high currents(not acceptable by led chips placed on Hyperion S panels) Thats why your LED panels stopped working. Im sorry to say that, but you sure contact with your supplier who gave you that information because it's a source of your troubles - that panels can't be swapped between without integration into electronic/drivers. As I told previously, for few thousands(about 10.000?) LED panels coming from SMT series we didnt had any one issue sourced by hidden defect(led stop working without any damage from external like water, transport etc) and thats why we offer three years of warranty for them. |

Sorry for misspelling - "you should contact with your supplier/seller" - not "you sure contact".

On first post you wrote that you upgraded to Hyperion S panels.
Now - that to Hyperion R2+. It's very big difference, because it's possible to upgrade panels from Hyperion R2 to R2+ but not from Hyperion R2 to S. |
