Radion XR30 Pro GEN4

I am setting up a new tank and looking to use the Radion xr30 Pro Gen4 but I have heard they are not fully controllable with the Neptune Apex and the WXM. From what I understand the new Gen4 has two new channels (violet and warm white) that the apex doesnt control. Is anyone using the new pro gen4 and apex together and if so is this true that the Apex will only control the same 6 channels that the Gen3 has? I only want a light I can control with the Apex and if I am paying for the new extra channels I want them to work also.

As I understand it, the latest Apex update and WXM update address the additional channels.

This is info on the latest firmware for the Apex 2016 and it specifically addresses those extra channels.
https://forum.neptunesystems.com/sho...-Just-Released

And the official MACNA announcement that states that the extra channels on the G4 pro will be supported by the Classic Apex as well.

Awesome!! Thank you slief. This is exactly what I was looking for. Support for the new channels.....looks like the Pro Gen4 will be the lights for this new tank.

The Apex 2016 has already been updated and the Apex Classic is expected to be updated within about a month, per Neptune.

Eagerly awaiting selling the Reeflink I purchased for full control,
Greg

New apex supports the new channels but if you have the classic it does not.
