184 gal.(display+sump) - SPS dominant reef.
Hi everybody,Cristian here.
I'm planning my next tank at the moment, which will be SPS mostly and maybe some LPS along the base of the rocks...maybe,will see. Tank dim.: 160/70/55cm Skimmer: right now I got a Curve9 (BM),thinking about replacing it with a ATI Powercone 250is DC.Any opinions about this skimmer? Lighting: AI Hydra 52hd (first time with LED lighting, was using only T5 for the last years so will see how it goes). As for filtration/additives and such, I'll go with Aquaforest products/system only. Some pics from my previous tank: |

Awesome for you
If your going AF all the way your going to LOVE Component 1+ 2+ 3+ (Liquid 3 part) AF has truly hit the hammer on the head with that product!!!!!!!! Good luck going from T5 to led. Not in a bad way. The led secret is: It takes way more led fixtures than manufactures say it's going to take and running them all at lower intensities.

Mangled metaphor aside, what's so great about AF? Not trying to be overly cynical, but it just seems like yet another in a long line of supplement based systems, none of which have stood the test of time.

Convert the stairs to a slide as you will be spending the majority of the time down there?
Looking forward to your progress. |

Those stairs are terrifying.
I mean, there are pieces missing right? They are not complete?
