About to set up a new tank and have some lighting questions
I currently have a IM/Nuvo 24 gallon 36" long tank that has been running for a while now. I have a Maxispect Razor LED 20" 160 watt? 16,000K light over the tank and everything is doing great. I am picking up a 150 gallon 6 foot long RR tank from a friend of mine in the next couple of weeks. The tank was a FOWLR set up and the fish have been moved to his new tank. After the move and that completion of the mini cycle from moving the live rock can this light support corals on one half of the 6 foot tank till I am able to get a light to cover the entire 6 feet? Also would two of these lights cover the tank? I am keeping mainly soft corals with some LPS. He has all the equipment for the tank except a reef Light.
Tank is 72" long x 24" deep x 20" wide |

IMO.. yes..
I had a 6ft tank (same tank dimensions I think) and ran 2 x Oceanrevive S026 (120W each) on it and grew softies/lps just fine.. I had the lights roughly 10" above the water and for the most part they covered the tank just fine..
