Is a Kessil a360we to much light?
Like the title says I'm wondering if a Kessil 360w would be to much light for either. IM 20 or the IM 25 lagoon tank.

It's easily controllable/dimable, and will have the capacity to work when you upgrade. I'd go for it.

It can go from approximately 12% (below this, it just turns off) to 100% intensity. For a smaller tank, you can easily start at say 20% and slowly increase till your corals don't respond well, and then hold an intensity slightly lower.

You would be better served by two 160's than one 360 in that size tank. What do you plan on keeping? LPS? SPS?

Thanks for your responses y'all, My original idea was to sell my kessil and get an AI prime HD, unless y'all think there is a better lighting option of either of those tanks.
@minus9 - I already own the a360 from my previous tank. I was planning on just LPS, I have a little own that like to look at a little desk tank I have. |
