Salifert VS Red Sea
Which test kit is the best among Salifert VS Red Sea?
Please consider the following: accuracy, versatility, ease of use, refill, and etc. |

In general I've found all test kits to be acceptable for most users..
Lots bash API but they have always been reliable/easy when I've used them. I've got some that are 10 years old and still read right.. I now have a mix of Red Sea, API, Nyos and a few more..

What do you guys think of Photometer such as Exact I dip, Hanna, and etc? How accurate they are compare to the traditional ones such as Redsea, API, and etc.?

I only have Idip photometer and I am going to buy some Red Sea and Salifert and compare the results with Idip.
My Fauna Marin Professional Salt's results on Magnesium, Alk, and Calcium are far apart then what the manufacture's claimed to be. Claude from Fauna Marin Germany said that photometer is not accurate to test their salt. |
