Liveaquaria is good.
Will the LFS special order fish for you? It really is better to know what you want versus impulse buying. |

+1 on LiveAquaria - I've ordered many times from them - great site to do research too.

No personal experience with Saltwater.com, but have heard mix reviews. Like other mentioned LA is a very good source along with Amongthereef.com

I live right outside and have toured Live Aquaria's divers den section in Wisconsin. Its a very impressive operation and they off great customer service. I've found them pretty expensive for fish and coral but there coral are top notch and I have never seen such happy and healthy fish in stores that compare to there Divers Den selection. There regular selection from California is hit or miss but they have great customer service to back that up.
I really recommend Divers Den section of Live Aquaria as you know exactly what you are getting. I do most of my shopping at local LFS stores and most worth there salt will custom order for you if they don't have something in stock. |

I like LA and their ease of health guarantee. I've not found another place online or brick and mortar that has a decent health guarantee and or will actually follow through. Local stores MIGHT give you 24 hours. Most don't care if it dies before it gets to your house. And while I've bought from other online stores, when something has gone wrong, they say they'll guarantee it, quite often I never see the store credit, or they won't do anything until it's actually dead (say you receive a fish that can't swim properly for whatever reason, call to let them know and if it's swimming then it qualifies as alive. Or you receive a coral that's been crushed and they insist you frag it, because it's technically still alive.) That sort of thing. Nope, with LA, if you have an issue you call and they're on it. Honestly it's worth the few extra bucks to not have that hassle. And 2 weeks is MORE than generous. They aren't perfect mind you (I've had stock arrive DOA then called and felt as if I'm on a deranged version of the Monty Python Parrot skit. Did you acclimate it? It's dead. Acclimation is very important, did you try? Don't think acclimating is gonna help trust me, that bag smells like three day road kill. You really should try acclimating it....), but they do try. I give them an A+ for effort.

I did my first order 2 weeks ago. they gave me with no hassle credit on casualties. did not even ask for pictures.
That said- the tang they sent is teeny tiny, barely eating since arrival, all the time hiding inside a 1" fitting. 10snails were DOA. a sea urchin looked as if someone placed a set of weight on it. eventually perished. customer support very nice
