Critique my stocking list
Attempting to look ahead and get stocking plans. Let me know what you think. Tank is red sea reefer 425xl. I want to keep lps and sps. Also I like inverts so don't want any fish to eat my colorful shrimp.
Flame angel-1 Clowns- 2 to 3 Mandarin -1 (know tank needs matured and pods for this) One spot foxface-1 Yellow goby, and another goby (still deciding)- do want to pair with pistol shrinp. Royal gramma-1 Yellow tang-1 Flasher and fairy wrasse- 2 to 3. Please let me know what you think. Any criticism is welcome. |

Looks to be a pretty conservative list that should work well together. The only issue I see is you should keep the clowns to two. Once two of them pair up they'll terrorize the third. The Flame Angel has a chance of munching on corals, but you probably already know that.

Personally I would do the tang or foxface. I have noticed (even though its a good size tank), too many large fish make the tank looked cramped. Sometimes its best to host a multitude of smaller species and maybe one showpiece (added last) to bring the tank together. You could also try a blenny or anthias.

Thanks a lot. This is the kind of feedback I'm looking for. I am not sold on the fox face, would rather have the tang. I've also thought about anthias, maybe buying a little group of 3 from divers den when funds permit down the road. I am hesitant about the flame angel, I've heard conflicting stories about whether or not they will attack my corals.
