Sailfin tang floating at top of tank
Hi all
I need some help I came down to my tank this morning to find my sailfin tang floating in the top corner of the tank he seems unable to swim down the tank. I check my water parameters this morning and got these readings. Sg 1.026 No3 0 Po4 0.1 Mag 930 Cal 340 Dkh 6 I have dosed dkh this morning to raise it back up as it is a little lower than normal. Will dose mag an calc later. Tang has been in the tank about a year and no problems till this morning. All new additions to tank have been qtd and most recent addition was about a month ago. I can't see any signs of ich or any other disease and all the other fish seem to be behaving normally. I would like some advice for what is wrong and how to fix it as I am very fond of my tang. Tank is 100g mixed reef tank and the tang was behaving normally yesterday and was eating yesterday. Please help Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sorry to hear this... I hope you find the strength to move on. Loosing any fish hurts.

Sometimes fish die for no apparent reason. I had a Sailfin die like that. Fine in the morning and dead on the sand at lunch. No observable cause, just dead.
