90 Gallon Stand Build - extruded aluminum
OK people, I have over grown my current stand SO I'm building a new one. The display is a 90 gallon tank and I have chosen the go with extruded aluminum. One of my biggest gripes with my current wood stand is the lack of side access, head room and the darn center brace.
Another issue is that I love my refugium but I have out grown it. The new stand will allow room for a 29 Gallon Refugium. I'm going with 45mm x 45mm extruded aluminum from Misumi. TIP* If you open an account they give you 30% off any orders during the first 30 days. So far I have gotten all parts for about $400 and plan to spend $600 total for the rebuild. Give me your thoughts. I'll continue to post my progress! |

 Misumi is one of my favorite "man" stores.. I buy automation/mechanical stuff there all the time for work,etc..
