The specs look the same as the new Kamoer with wifi. I wonder if they're the same unit with the Kamoer just having the fancy looking shell.

Want great customer service and local support? Reef Breeders just added this dosing pump to it's line of products.
I've been considering getting one (or 2, I have 2 systems) but I'd like to know it's better than some of the stuff that comes out of China. Some of it's pretty darn good and some of it is cheap crap. and I got a doser a couple of years ago that lasted about 2 weeks and got zero customer support. They told me to "Send it back to China." which costs half of what the price new was.

I have the DP-4 dosing pump now and is so happy about it. But I just needed this new one because of the WiFi
Just ordered it today, so hopefully I'll receive it at the end of next week. I also have the Coral Box Cloud C9 skimmer which is running like a monster on my tank. So until now I'm just happy to find cheap products that gets the job done |

I have the DP-4 as well and although it works fine it's just a PITA to make changes to it because of the location of the buttons and where it is in the stand. Wifi would make it a lot easier to make changes. Let us know how it works out.

I agree, but then a lot of the newer dosing pumps look cheap to me. I bought one a few years ago through somebody I trusted and got a total piece of junk which failed in weeks.
I know Reef Breeders would stand behind this doser, but I'd like to know it's a reasonable build quality before I buy. Looking forward to a review.

Their site states these are build with Kamoer parts, similar to the new wifi doser kamoer released.

Wow
I'm really impressed!! The dosing pump really surprised me It has the same weight as the old dosing pump, but is half the size. It feels like a great build and a great quality. The only plastic that I could find, was the white "cover" to cover over the screws and the dosing heads. Talking about the dosing heads... They are new. The feel better and harder, so I expect them to last better I love that I can do everything in the app on the phone. Calibration, dosing amount, alarms and a lot more is done in the app. After the first calibration it was spot on. I did a 10 ml calibration which was way off the first time. But after the calibration it was 10 ml exactly - I'll make a calibration test again in a week. I'm really impressed by what Coral Box have made. I'll try to write a bit more in a week after the next calibration test |
