kessil 160 vs 360
since turning the 360 up too high can burn corals so everyone leaves it at like roughly 50% wouldn't just getting a 160 and leaving it at full blast be the same thing?

I run them off my Apex, 60 for color and 90 for intensity. You don't set the 'whites' in the same way as with other LED lights. Color at 60 is probably 17K, give or take. BUT, my tank is 30" tall so I need to run them high to get adequate punch to the sand.

Is the blue color (whites all down)of the A160's the same as the A360's? It sounds like a stupid question, but Ive owned the A160's and saw the A360 yesterday and it seemed a different blue.
The AP700's blue is visually different from the A160's as a friend had the last ones supplementing the corners of his tank, ran by an AP700 and we could tell the corners had different color.

I 'think' the 360 and 160 are different at the 100% blue end. Not significantly different, but the 160 does seem bluer to me. I've not seen the AP700.

The 160 and 360 are identical in color all the way to 75% (I don't go above 75% intensity so I couldn't tell you after that). But at about 60% (color) the kessils are whiter in color than my radiums so I would say at 60% they are close to 16-17K. At 40-45% (color) they are very close in color to my radiums.
