What do u feed your tangs
Hi everyone ,I've been in the hobby a long time and I always had a few tangs in my tank, they always survive, grow and look happy but always get markings on there heads and lateral line , thinking it's more of a diet thing ,so I was wondering what does everyone feed there tangs to keep them from getting these things ,I give them Nori every other day ,they eat the frozen mysis when I feed the tank ,and I give them pellets ,like ocean nutrion,or spectrum ...anything else I should be giving them ?

I feed pretty much the same as u although they get either nori or some ocean nutrition seaweed everyday. Not sure if there is a difference but i vary the seaweed.. sometimes i buy red, green or brown...Just to mix it up.

Same here... nori every day and pellets, and 3 different kinds of frozen. I have heard that carbon dust could affect some fish and promote lateral line.

I feed blonde naso, yellow & hippo tangs 1 sheet of green seaweed daily plus they eat mysis or bloodworms or rods along with others. They devour the seaweed and appear fat and happy. Poop lots.
