How long do apex pH probes last

I purchased my full classic Apex in March 2014 so today my lab grade pH probe is 3 years old. Just finished calibrating it after a vinegar cleaning. It gave me no problems calibrating and is still reading properly. How long do these probes last?

I've had the regular probe go 3 years before drifting; imagine the lab probe would do somewhat better.

I purchased a pH pinpoint BNC replacement probe during black friday thinking I'd be soon replacing the Apex probe. How long can this new pinpoint last sitting on a shelf waiting?

My lab grade probe from 2014 is still in service. Time for my annual calibration soon.
