Question Is there any safe and effective way to add Kalkwasser without an auto top off?

Hey guys.

My new JBJ 45 is currently cycling, however in the future I plan to add some softies and LPS corals to the tank. I'm saving up for my test kits now and should be ordering those soon, however I wanted to ask about kalkwasser dosing. I've noticed that almost everyone recommends dosing kalkwasser with an auto top off system since it will slowly add the kalkwasser to avoid overdosing while also solving the evaporation problem as well. My problem is I'm not working with a lot of space and don't have the room for an auto top off at the moment, plus I like adding the water myself daily since I feel more in touch with my tank's needs rather than having everything be automatic.

Is there any safe and effective way to add kalkwasser without an auto top off system? Does anyone have any experience in this regard?

Thanks for your time!
