Corals

Evening all, I got some coral frags this afternoon, xenia, polyp and a cauliflower coral that I split into 2 frags. I was just wondering how long it takes for them to recover? Obviously being cut off Is trauma and now they have been glued in a new home. The green cauliflower does look good under blue light.

I'm guessing 1 week for recovery

It depends. I had a corals open up the same day. Then still have one after two weeks that open and close up when they feel like it.
I will say that I would have waited till they looked happy with there location in the tank before gluing then.

Thanks for that, noted for next time. How would I hold them in place though without sticking them on? Sorry to ask dull questions but these are first frags I ever had.
