Red macro algae disapeared
So about two weeks ago I bought some red and green macro algae which I put in my display tank. The green fern has taken off but it looks like my red is slow disappearing. Not exactly sure how that is possible. I only have one own fish and one shrimp and I have never seen them eat it. Any ideas as to where it might have gone?

It may have broke loose and now it's trapped somewhere among the rocks. If you have an extra powerhead lying around you might want to see if you can flush it out.

Yum yum. What is it? If gracilaria, it's likely getting eaten up. Also likely that it's gotten broke into bits and flowed under the rocks (usually a lower pressure area)

yeah, I've found it hard to keep that in the display because it is so palatable.
