Any Giesemann Experts?
I recently acquired an Infiniti unit with a package purchase, but one bank of the T5s isn't working.
There are two cords coming from the unit, one running into what I believe is an original ballast, and the second rigged into another ballast. The original ballast has two powercords that run one MH and one bank of T5. The other ballast only has one powercord, and has a different gauge wire running into the fixture, compared to the original ballast. I know very little about electronics, so am turning to the community. Please help!

Can you work a voltmeter? If so, then you can walk through this with it and see what is up.

Take a picture of the wiring if you can. How many total wires are going into the fixture 2 or 3? Some giesemann fixtures have 2 and some have 3. Hoods with 2 wires have 1 wire for the MH and 1 wire for both t5 ballasts. Hoods with 3 wires have 1 for the MH and 2 wires for the t5s, 1 wire for each bank of t5s.

There are two wires running into the unit. The first picture shows what I believe to be the original ballast, with two powercords, one for one MH and one for one T5 bank. The wire that runs from this to the unit is a bit thicker.
The second photo shows the aftermarket ballast, which is a Galaxy 150 Dual. One power cord and one thinner cord running into the unit. Sent from my SM-G935W8 using Tapatalk
