FS: Giesemann Infiniti DE 250w 48" Metal Halide T5 Fixture (custom Polar White)
Testing the waters a bit. I just found my mint condition Giesemann Infiniti fixture from back when I had an ELOS tank. This is an Infiniti that was custom built by Giesemann for me, in white. Because it was custom, it cost quite a bit more.
I realized I had kept it because I thought if I ever got back into the hobby with a 48" tank, this would be the exact fixture I'd want. Now I'm back, I'm in with a nano tank, and probably won't get anything larger anytime soon (at most, a 36"). My receipts show I purchased for $1,982 (ordered through Neptune Aquatics back in 2009). I'll let it go for $1200 firm. Comes with the ballasts and used lamps (phoenix 14k de, and some T5's). Pickup in San Francisco, Bay Area only. More on it from back in the day when I set it up: https://www.nano-reef.com/forums/top...omment-2531873 Last edited by Kinetic; 09/28/2017 at 05:57 PM. |

If you're putting together a new tank, this is the light to get. It's a beautiful fixture, and 100% silent since it uses passive heating. That might sound strange, but I ran it for a long time without having any issues.
It has some used Phoenix 14K lamps, with T5's that have plenty of life left in them. You will be able to grow anything under these lights. Still $1200 firm. |

$900 if you pick it up by Monday! This is crazy cheap for this light, I'm sad just thinking about how low this is going. But if it goes by Monday for this price, that'll be nice.

Stubborn strategy. Offered you 800 like 3 times over a year. Now your sitting on it. Businesses liquidate for a reason, so there real estate doesn't get taken up by stuff they can't sell anymore.
When I offered 800 the last few times, your lights were obsolete than. There a few people out there like me, that are willing to spend the extra in power to get more glow on my corals. If your sitting on it? And you want to liquidate? I'll give you 500. |
