Reef Radiance StarFire LED Lights
Does anyone else have these light fixtures?
I can't connect to them to program them! I have tried to get a solution to this problem from Rick at Reef Radiance and I just get insulting emails or no response at all to the problem. I can connect to the WiFi subnet but cannot connect to the controllers. Thanks Jim |

Are you using android or IOS?
Have you read the manual? http://reefradiance.com/uploads/3/4/...i-_ver.1.1.pdf Did it ever work? Per the instructions (which are pretty lame) it seems to say that you don't need to manually connect to the wifi and that it should do that automatically? How long have you had the lights? How about returning them? Maybe if you post the emails we can see where you/it went wrong there too?

Hi mcgyvr,
I bought the lights back in Feb. Just got my tank running and cycled. turned on the lights and the programming was different between the 2. After days of playing with them I have finally got a reliable connection to 1 of the 2. The manual is ridiculous and had to read between the grammer. Now when I go to factory reset the second fixture, the green led is slow flashing and then goes to a fast blink and does not change. The fixture does not reset and there is no fans or light in WiFi switch position. I connect to AqDim on my Netbook and the 1st light returns an ip 192.168.11.1. The 2nd light returns an ip 192.168.11.2 I feel the software is most of the connection problem but the factory reset is a hardware issue. I use Android on my phone. Jim |

Reef Radiance sucks. My LEDs started burning up before the warranty expired and he wouldn’t send me replacement leds. He said he changes over light models every year. I’m guessing as to avoid warranty fixes.
