Please help two apex down after firmware update
My primary apex classic wont boot up after reboot had to remove power and it booted up fine. Today I attempted to update firmware and it bricked. I pulled out my backup apex and restored a saved backup and attempted a firmware update as well. That backup unit just like the primary is now bricked too. I called apex after submitting ticked explained its doing the same thing that it did last year which they repaired. The thing is why is the "WORKING" backup doing the same thing too after restoring the primary apex's backup? Does anyone know how to restore the unit to factory settings so i can start over? If i remove the battery will it wipe the programming?

I got the backup apex working by disconnecting the internal pcb battery booted up but the time zones are off. I'm paranoid to restart this apex if I set the clock info will it eventually update without restarting?
