Gfo
Is GFO release enough iron to aquarium water which can help the growth of micro algae like chaeto or we still need to dose iron , like using Kent iron supply product

If you are having problems growing chaeto you might want to stop using GFO..
GFO is for those with a phosphate problem.. It should not be used if you don't have one as it can strip the water of phosphate and cause problems.. Why are you using GFO? But no I would not rely on GFO as your source of iron in the tank (it may release some into the water column) and you would want to test/measure if you intend on dosing iron.. If the results show you have enough iron then there is no need to dose.. if not then add iron supplement..
