Apex rust problem?
My daughters' tank used to have a apex probe holder.
This is how it looked when she removed it. Anyone else have this problem? The rust ended up in the probes too. I believe they are all toast. |

Failed magnet. Sadly a common issue.

That happened to my probe holder as well. I plan on using the ATK from neptune which also has a magnet water level sensor. Ive thought of dipping the magnet in two part resin to coat it further from water getting to the magnet?

Going on 3 years with mine. There was another post a year or so back about the magnet rusting. I check on mine every water change now.
