Tunze 3152 ATO won't turn off

Last year my unit malfunctioned and I had to get a replacement. It worked great for 9 months, then I started hearing the top-off going on all the time, and then it wouldn't shut off. Now when I turn it on, it just keeps pumping.

I've cleaned the float and even tried the cardboard trick on the magnet, but nothing, besides I can manually lift the float and it still doesn't shut off.

Anyone have any troubleshooting tricks for this? A reset? Or do I just need to send it in to the rep?
