Books

I am seeking a few books ....

Specifically one on corals.... to help me decide which way id like to go.... and help me figure out light requirements.. feeding requirements... compatibility...

and another specifically on Fish and other creatures.

I welcome any suggestions as I'm new to the hobby and planning my first 75 gallon reef.

"Coral Reefs in the Microbial Seas" by Forest Rohwer
Vol III "The Reef Aquarium" by Delbeek and Sprung
"Corals A quick Reference Guide" Sprung

Keep in mind corals are adaptable and no one reference is going to be able to cover all the variables.

Books

Ha! I admit I’m “elderly”, but I remember when my only resource (FW) was *Axelrod*!!

His obituary ran in the NYT recently - turns out he was quite the huckster/charlatan. His books were my ‘aquarium bibles’ through the ‘60s, ‘70s, & ‘80s. R.I.P. Mr. Axelrod!

EDIT: And I STILL read books - I’ll be purchasing some of those recommended above - they’ll just be *ebooks*. lol

"Aquarium Corals" by Eric Borneman is the best coral book I've seen. It won't contain much on LEDs, but other than that, it's still really good info.

Just keep it simple...

This is why books don't come out that often...

I like books..... the internet is a horrible rabbit hole that is filled with great stuff but seems it takes forever to narrow down credible info..... or maybe I should say "takes forever to know I'm looking at credible info"

once I know a bit more I'm sure the internet will be a boon of information
