DSB Plants
A portion of my upcoming SH tank will be a DSB. What plants, if any, should I consider? Turtle grass, a Mangrove? Some tall Halymedia (sp)?

Whatever you choose you want to be able to keep detritus from accumulating around it. I have a deep sandbed in part of my SH tank but all the macros I have can be picked up and shook out. SHs are very vulnerable to bacterial infections wnd detritus can fuel pathogenic bacteria.

Seagrasses are true, vascular plants that appreciate a DSB. Of the macros, mermaid's fan, mermaid's shaving brush and pinecone algae all like a DSB.
