20 gallon tank startergs
I am almost done cycling my first reef tank.
The tank is 20 gallons. It currently has about 13 gallons of water in it with around 15 pounds of Florida Reef Rock in it. I cycled my tank with BioSpira to get things going faster. I am a few days away from getting my first fish in the tank as well as a CC I was thinking of starting with 1 clown 1 shrimp 1 hermit and 1 snail . Is this too much or too little for the first creatures? I've heard lots of debate over 1 snail and 1 crab per gallon of water. Not sure what to do here. Any advice appreciated! |

On that small of a tank, I would recommend adding one or two things at a time...not all at once. Too much bioload added at one time = not good.

The clown, shrimp, and snail will be a fine first addition.
