MP40 and Maxspect Gyre together?
Hello All--I have 180G mixed reef tank. I have 2 MP40's (one on each side of this 5' tank). I also have a Maxspect Gyre XF-230. I want to incorporate this, but am not sure as to placement. I am willing to replace one MP40. Does anyone have a similar set-up they can advise me on? Vertical placement, horizontal, mode suggestions? Thanks!

I have a 2 MP 40's and 180 and was using have switched Gyre (2, xf 230). If I was going to run 1 gyre and 1 mp40 I would place one on each side of the tank.

I'd just play around with placement. Maybe shift one mp40 to the back pane. I wouldn't remove one of the 40s though, if it's too much flow you can turn them all down.
