Maxspect Gyre
Hello. Have a 50 gallon long am thinking of switching to the Maxspect gyre. Does anyone use it and recommend it. Thanks

I use 2 x 250's on my 120, mounted on the back on either side of the center overflow. Anywhere past 60% and there is a waterfall over the front.
IMHO they are a great water mover. 1 x 230 on one side would be more than enough for you. My only real complaint is that the manual and controller are way more difficult to figure out than they should be considering the price. hth

I have two X250's on my 75 gal. Very powerful. I generally use the lunar tide setting. Programming is needlessly obtuse.
